Walk This Way!

He's walking!! My baby just turned 11 months old and he's a walking boy :) Although he took a few steps at Mamma and P's house a couple of weeks ago, anytime we tried to get him to walk after that he would take a step or two and then get down and crawl...or he would scream and throw a fit. But, for whatever reason, at Grammy's house today he decided it was time. Maybe he got sick of my nagging, maybe he really wanted his Surfer Pablo doll that we were holding of reach, who knows! Anyway, you'll all get to see his new skill at his birthday party next month, if not before then. We've decided to make it a Backyardigan theme since he's clearly inspired by those lovable little...uh, whatever they are.

He especially likes being naked, but Joe tells me that's inappropriate for the web! He also likes crawling around and getting into things that he shouldn't: Daddy's laptop, the cat food, the cabinets, etc. When I caught him playing with the dirty laundry, I decided it was time to invest in a gate. He thinks it's sort of fun because he can stand up and walk around the edge. He hates being changed and is like Houdini when it comes to getting out of the diaper I'm trying to get on him!
