Early Christmas Present

Today Joe and I got the official letter of approval from DSS...we are now a licensed pre-adoptive family! Now we are just waiting to be "chosen" by an adoption worker. There is no time line for being chosen. Our social worker will send our home-study out to adoption workers looking to place kids and, if they think we are a match, they will contact us. It could take weeks, it could take months, sometimes even years, you just never know. At any rate, we are excited that a new addition to our family is one step closer!
