This is what's new

When my friends call and ask me what's new, I say things like "not much" or "Quin can say Mama now." This really translates to "well, he ate dog food and picked his nose today." He's gotten very agile in his walker and can bump into the chair I put in front of the dog's dish until it moves. He seizes this opportunity to grab a handful of dog food, which he promptly stuffs into his mouth. Although cute at first, he's eaten so much dog food that the dog is starting to give him the evil eye every time I put Quin in his walker. And speaking of picking his nose, here is a picture of Quin getting caught "forming his own exploratory committee" at dinner:

How many people can be cute and pick their nose at the same time? Not many, seriously. Anyhow, I took the kids for a walk today in the new Peg Perego stroller (Susie spoils me so) and they looked so cute!

Quin fell asleep 5 seconds into the walk while Julia stayed awake talking and talking the whole ride...like Joe and I on a car trip only the other way around. The kids managed to drop both of their blankies into the mud somewhere along our journey but it was otherwise relaxing and uneventful.
