Dining out with Quin

Just love this one!

The Prodigal Blogger

It's not that I don't have a million pictures to share, I do. I started putting them on Flickr because there are just so many ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/vickigraham/ ). And it's not that there aren't a ton of cute stories, either. Why, in the past few weeks he has peed on my phone, pooped on the dining room floor, learned how to say "Auntie" and "Ashley," and learned how to do "no more monkeys jumping on the bed" as well as countless other cute things. I'm not sure why I've been absent on the blog, but I'll try to make up for it now.

The other day we went to the Children's Museum in Boston. Much like at the so-much-less-of-a-pain-to-get-to Easton Children's Museum, Quin spent most of his time banging on things and screaming at the top of his lungs in sheer delight.

And, of course, making wet slippery messes - I'm talking bubbles, not pee pee.

Afterwards, we met up with Auntie Lissa for dinner to return Ashley to her.
He enjoyed eating at the restaurant with Auntie Lissa as she generally lets him do whatever he wants. We got him cheese fries thinking that he would enjoy the combination of two of his favorite foods. He was mad that we had put "stuff" on his fries and insisted on taking it off of each fry before eating it. Go figure.

In other news, Mommy goes back to work (sniff sniff) in a week and we start transitioning Quin into daycare on Monday. He's in for quite the shock when he learns its no longer appropriate to stay in his jammies all day and eat crunchies at will. I'm sure he'll be fine, but I don't know about me! Starting a new job and leaving Quin at the same time is not my idea of an easy transition.

The Graham family is also working on some more news...a sibling for Quin! We recently started the adoption process through DSS and we're hoping to get into the parenting classes that start in the fall. We have already filled out the initial application and passed the initial background check so once we get the parenting class done we just have to do the home visits and wait...and wait, and wait, and wait. They can't give me a time frame at all, it's just a big waiting game. Anyhow, that's it for the Graham Family updates and hopefully it won't be another month and a half before I get back on here for another one!
